Seoul Hanok Week runs October 2–11, 2026 across Bukchon and Seochon. Choose accommodation around your program venue and itinerary. The city announcement confirms the dates.

Start with your program venue
Find the venue address on your program page. Compare it with each property’s entrance and current routes in both directions. Bukchon and Seochon are distinct areas; a listing’s “near Hanok Week” label is too broad.

When a Bukchon hanok stay fits
Consider a hanok if its traditional setting matters to you. Confirm its address, luggage access, check-in, room layout, and cancellation terms with the host.
Seoul restricts tourist visits from 17:00 to 10:00 in a Red Zone around Bukchon-ro 11-gil. The city notice does not apply this rule to all of Bukchon or Seochon or clarify overnight guest access. For a property in or beside the zone, confirm your route and access with the host. A room booking does not establish permission for after-hours sightseeing.
When a central Seoul hotel fits
A central hotel may suit a wider Seoul itinerary. Compare its address with your venue, arrival point, and other stops. Jongno, Insadong, and Myeongdong are possible search areas, but none is closest to every program.
Check reservations and the accommodation offer
Some programs use advance reservations and a lottery. On-site registration may follow no-shows, but admission is not guaranteed. Check the Hanok Week portal before booking around a program.
The city lists a 10% offer for Bukchon Binkwan, Rakkojae, and Butler Lee’s Seoul locations with code hanokweek for October 2–11. Confirm eligible dates, availability, final price, and exclusions directly. The offer does not guarantee a room.

Make the final choice by address and terms
For a Bukchon-focused visit, weigh the hanok experience against access rules. For a Seochon event or wider trip, compare central hotels by route. Confirm admission, room occupancy, arrival, and cancellation terms before paying.
