Purpose
Korea Staybook publishes practical hotel and destination guidance for independent travelers planning a trip to Korea. Every article should help a reader make a defined decision, understand the trade-offs and verify the details that could affect a booking.
Source standards
Material claims begin with primary sources whenever possible. Preferred sources include official hotel websites, transport operators, airports, local governments, tourism organizations and published property policies. Booking platforms and public traveler discussions may be used to compare availability or identify recurring practical concerns, but they do not replace an official source for a policy or facility claim.
Each hotel guide must retain at least two current official source links in the working record and display relevant source links in the published article. A source is checked for the specific claim it supports. A general destination page is not treated as proof of a hotel amenity.
Fact checking
Before publication, the editor checks names, locations, transport relationships, room terminology and any operating details used in the article. Time-sensitive facts are written with a verification date or with language that directs the reader to the current source. We do not present a temporary price, promotion, schedule or availability result as a permanent fact.
When information conflicts, the official source is preferred and the uncertainty is explained. If a material claim cannot be verified, it is removed or clearly identified as an observation that the reader should confirm directly.
Editorial independence and affiliate links
Affiliate relationships do not determine the conclusion of a guide. An affiliate link is added only after the editorial comparison has been completed, and it is labelled near the link. We do not sell rankings, guarantee a rate, or describe a commission relationship as an independent award.

Korea Staybook does not claim that a writer stayed at or personally inspected a property unless that experience is documented.
